"Advance notice that we will be visiting the Philippines in October. We plan to perform 2 concerts during the week of 28th October to 2nd November, and will publish more details once they are known."

Not really shocked, I had heard that Mr. de Ocampo was at the Spring tour so I figured he might be planning something.
The Philippines has been good for Libera in the past, hope it's a success this time around as well.

Happy to hear that Libera is going to Philippines, but sadly it is too far away. Perhaps we are going sometimes to Asia (but not now). Enjoy there !! And please go to see best live "choir" in the world.

I think I may have considered the pines, but for two concerts ? Hmm I don't know.

I won't be surprised if one is for Manila and the other for Cebu. Mr. De Ocampo sure has sort of made it a habit to bring the choir there.

If only they have time for Palawan or (the money for) Batanes. Those places are neat.

I was thinking to not go, but I would have first secured a good seat, to let me then search serenely for a plane cheap and fast.
But now that I see I can't buy tickets due to the BPI cards only restriction, and seeing the price, well, my decision is taken, I'm not going

2 premium seats (with dinner) were $475.00 for the 2011 Cebu concert.

..bit strange you needing to have one type of bank card to buy tickets. Shame those overseas cannot book online, the most enthusiastic audience will be seated near the back in the less expensive sections I expect.

I'm sure it will eventually be opened up to anyone who wants to purchase a ticket.
One would think by then the best seats will be gone however.

I was on the fence about going to the Philippines this year, I think this pretty well seals the deal.
I'll save my money for later and hope that I'm able to attend the traditional London area show in November.

I hope some of our Filippino members have BPI cards and get the good seats!

I can't remember, but it seems that the ticket prices have gone up. *checks his ticket from the 2011 tour* Er, I think I'm wrong in this. I purchased a Price Zone 5 tix back then.

But I need to see the official seat plan for the concert, I hope it gets followed up soon... it's by checking the seat plan that I got a better view for the concert back in 2011.

Manila concert tickets are selling very well. Availability is now code red "Limited." And the sale has not yet opened up to people without a BPI card.

The prices are the same as in 2011 except there now is no Zone 9 (the cheapest) for PhP 500.
