Total Seats Capacity = 1230
Total Seats Sold = 859
Total Seats Available = 371
Percentage (%) Sold = 69.84%
Percentage (%) Available = 30.16%

Which is very good considering it's very rare for the Choir Seats to sell any tickets as they are behind the stage. At the time of writing 33 of the 138 Choirs seats were sold. They are the cheapest tickets though at ¢10-¢12. Hopefully that percentage will be nearer 80% come Friday. :)

Where are you taking this number ?

To my part, I'm counting each dot on the map of the great auditorium
https://tickets.nch.ie/online/mapSelect ... 61726BDC90
And at the time I'm writing this, there is only 832 seats in grey...

Thanks for the image :)
Yours is much nicer than mine but we have the same method

I see two errors on yours

- the choir balcony is only 136 seats, not 138.
  It's composed of 27 + 27 + 39 (not 41) + 43 seats.
So the total seats number should be 1228 I think.

- in the stalls, you are counting line U as full sold (100%), but it's the contrary, there is no seat sold at all on line U (0%), you have to decrease your total by 31, and our results will match :)

Thanks for pointing out the errors. I think after counting 43 seats on the back row of the choir stalls, I didn't count the second row, and made a quick observation that there must have been two less seats, when in actual fact there were 4 less.

Counting row U as a sell out was an oversight, as I just entered the figures in the wrong column.

I have adjusted the figures.

So neither is there a 1230 or 1231 seat capacity, it is infact 1228?

Yes, I think so, 1228.

I had first an error myself on the yellow balcony.

Sells are growing faster now :)

At now less than 4 days of the concert, we have reached 907 seats sold (73,86% !)

I don't know if the RTÉ is doing any advertisement for Libera on the Irish TV, but there is a few libera appearances on the radio.

Listen for exemple on wednesday 22th July at 22'10'' and 39'35''.

Or Thursday 23th july at 1h45'35''

Still on the RTÉ radio, Tickets for the Libera concert were to be won last week, here the 8 happy winners.

(be fast, I think the audio files will only remain online one week before being replaced)

938 seats sold now (76.38%). They have sold over 100 tickets in the last two days alone. It could pass the magical 1000 ticket sales by Friday, and that's not including those who will turn up on the day to buy.

I think this would smash the record for the most attended stand alone Libera concert held on British soil.

Thanks I came across that good bag selection on RTE Radio a few days ago, but I'm not sure if they are advertising on RTE Television.

974 !
Green Balcony is now sold-out also.

Concerning the weather, no NOT forget to take your umbrella with you !

Here the weather forecast for next three days, from the RTÉ site :
Rain will spread countrywide during FRIDAY (day of the concert).
The rain will be persistent and occasionally heavy and will be accompanied by extensive hill fog. It will be a very windy day also, with strong to gale force southerly winds.
Heavy showers on SATURDAY, with the chance that a few of them may turn thundery.

Yep good point, slipped my mind about QEH - Capacity for Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank is 913 seats http://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/assets ... 336E52.pdf - I think that was 70%-80% sell out, there were some empty seats in the upper rows. Of course, you don't know how many bought tickets but didn't turn up.

Yes fan_de_LoK I am guessing the red and green balcony's have now sold out, I have updated my spreadsheet.

983 seats sold (80.05%) - this time tomorrow I expect it to break through the 1,000 mark ;)
