I too have just received an answer regarding the lack of barcode:

"We will not be using barcodes for this concert, all you need is the email with your seat numbers. So no need to worry."

I've just checked my tickets, and there is supposed to be a barcode on the tickets - mine don't appear to have any, just a space where the barcode should be. Is this just me or do others see the same?

Row C is the first on the seating plan. At time of writing website is back up and almost all seats gone up to Row P. Looks like the rush is over. The tickets themselves are pretty rubbish as well - I want more for my money

When looking for accommodation, don't forget "airbnb". I stayed in a delightful artists house for this years concert, and have just booked it for May 2018. There are quite a few places within easy walking distance of the Cathedral, so might be worth taking a look for anyone stuck for ideas...
