Re: to live in

A dream: live and stay in London or Norbury and be able to go regularly to Evensong instead of CD's, DVD's or YT. Be a part of British Life... Is there anyone who went to Norbury ? Explain, please ! My twice-a-year trips to the UK always involves a stop in Norbury on Sunday. St. Philips always welc...

Hey Deshaun, As one who travels over to the UK at least twice a year, I can probably be of some help. However, Yorkie is right - that's a lot to cover in one trip. Without knowing what your interests are or your budget, it's hard to offer any specific advice. If you've never been across the pond, ma...

Thanks for posting this! :D Though it looks like a long walk from the Norbury train station to the church, it's really not that bad - I've done it in less than 15 minutes. Also, if you walk up to the top of Pollards Hill Road, you get a really nice view of the surrounding area.

Re: The future is......

So fire away, tell me I'm wrong. I'm a big boy, I can take it  Excellent topic, Yorkie, especially since it's a slow time for Libera News. No, I don't think you're wrong. I have to agree that Libera is in a transition phase right now. When the main soloists are all close to the same age, you ...

Re: Adverts

Clever ads here in the US seem to have become extinct. Even the much anticipated ads that run during the Super Bowl game have been disappointing recently. I want to see what your t.v. ads are like (this will be tough for you folks from the US because as far as I can tell most of you adverts are for ...

I agree 100% with Tom. Can you fix me a plate, too?
My next UK adventure sends me to St. Ives in Cornwall but I promise to make a return to Yorkshire, OK?

I live in a military town so you can imagine people here are a bit angry about this. As for boycotting, what I'm hearing is a tourism boycott. As for me, I'm not happy about it and I think it's a mistake. But I don't think it's enough to inflict any permanent damage to our relationship. Will I cance...

TEB wrote: FYI, alot of the older boys who seem to be missing from Libera now actually sing in the choir at Saint Philip's and help with Evensong.
True. During my last trip to London/St. Philip's a few months ago, even Michael H., whom I thought was long gone, sang during Evensong.
