Re: Musical gems
If I'm not mistaken I believe that Robert Prizeman was a devout and practicing Catholic, so his choice of a well known liturgical poem, which has been the basis of a number of liturgical hymns and anthems, is unsurprising. Though it looks like he added the lines "Creator conditor perpetua, Exu...

Welcome to Libera Dreams! Please tell us more about this if you wish, this sounds like new information to me.fugalharmony wrote: ↑1 day ago I don't know which new songs will be featured in the concert, but one of the new songs they recently recorded was composed by the parents of choristers.

Re: UK Cathedral Concerts in 2024
Looks like there are railway works going on over the Saturday and Sunday of the Ely concert so there are no direct trains too and from London. They will be operating a rail replacement service (i.e. a bus) for part of the journey which means it will take about an hour longer to get there/back. Good...

It actually identified Libera?! AI is crazy bad with some things.....and crazy good with others.Luckdragon wrote: ↑1 week ago I wanted to see if Chat GPT could identify the song on top of the pile in the Instagram post above, so I used flat.io to enter the visible elements. How do you think it did?

Looks like a couple of filmmakers made this back in 2017 and it was in a film festival in 2019. That may explain why it took so long to release publicly.

Glad they're maintaining that tradition and corporate connection as this can only be good for their notoriety.
Glad for the update.

Re: Lighthouse music video nominated
In passing saw a reference to these awards on the libera facebook page, wondered what the results were so googled them. A double win for Luca and Libera in Best Male Artist and Best Video.... yet no mention anywhere on social media or on the Libera website. They really do need to work on raising th...

Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)
I was able to get tickets :D! It turns out there are several pre-sale rounds. This time I had researched the ticket process and I had a friend in Japan who helped with calling and paying. Now I’m looking forward even more to reading reviews about the UK concerts, because I think they might contain ...

I like it! You can hear his voice beginning to subtly shift downwards, and this is particularly evident on the lower notes.

Welcome! So exciting that you'll be visiting Japan and seeing them in concert. I assume that the Ely, Chester, and Lincoln concerts are in conflict with your schedule even though they are closer in proximity? Glad to have you with us, and hopefully you can give us your impressions of the concerts in...

Re: A newly uncovered not seen before (possibly) video
This will be a complete guess but based on the mood of the lighting, plus a song that we could recognize from their current stage movement, my guess is "Morning has broken".
Let me know how wrong that is as soon as possible!

Yeah, that looks totally unfamiliar to me. Looking forward to the full video. What a tease!
