Update:

I found this little tidbit:http://www.trinity-school.org/news/defa ... toryID=389
Monday 31st May 2010
Week ending Friday 28th May 2010

From the Headmaster

...

In contrast, last weekend Stefan Leadbeater (1L) starred as the treble soloist in a live performance of the soundtrack to ‘Lord of the Rings: Return of the King’ in front of a sold out audience of 5000 people at the Krakow International Film Festival in Poland. The critically acclaimed composer of the music for all three Lord of the Rings films, Howard Shore, was in attendance, and was very pleased with Stefan’s solo role. The film was projected onto a giant screen, and the soundtrack was synchronised and performed live by a huge symphony orchestra and massed choir. Stefan was given a fantastic ovation by the audience as he was beckoned to the podium by both the conductor and the composer at the end of the film.

I hope we can find a full coverage close-up. You can hear them acknowledging Stefan around 6:19.

Well, according to my research, Stefan would have been singing the solo on "Minis Tirith"...

Oh my, my two favorites collided: Libera and Lord of the Rings! Which song is Mina Tirith? Is that the one sang by Pippin? My LotR is a bit rusty. :)

Good on him, got to make the most of your special talent while you have it. I'm sure he was talent spotted by association of being in Libera and also being part of very well respected school choir too.
