This video is much better !
I didn't expect anything new to appear before US tour- what a surprise :D
I agree the point about nerves were showing and some notes were not perfect, but it was live and anyway the song is beautiful.
But I don't think that he doesn't suit at all ! Far from that. Let me remind this video of Far Away- solo by MiniBen at Crystal Cathedral ! Definitely his best version of Far Away- pure enjoyment ! 8) He is smiling and confident in this one :D

P.s. Of course it is Michael's song forever.

Mini Ben's version of this song is the closest to Michael's I've ever heard. :D
He doesn't quite have Michael's emotion in it just yet but that will come with time.

Well, I've got to say there is strength in number. Hehe... The Bayan Ko performance in the Showtime TV program in the Philippine leg where 21 of them were on stage was so much better.

Having said that...

I see this video and I want them back in the Philippines already.

I think Michael as the best studio recording of 'Far Away', but for singing it before a live audience Tom edges it for me.

Kavana's high notes were superb! I'm definitely watching for a solo by him.

I wonder if RP is thinking of having Ralph take over as soloist on "Far Away" once Ben's voice breaks since they shared the solo on this version? If Ralph doesn't end up as the soloist, I think that James T. would do nicely; his voice on "Gaelic Blessing/Deep Peace" reminded me a little of Michael Horncastle's.
