Notifications via email

For quite a while now I've had the problem that I don't receive any notifications by email anymore, neither about topics I subscribed to (although I did use the link before to "inform" the system that I had visited the topic) nor about private messages. How can I fix that?

I no longer get email notifications for private messages (and have not done so for probably a year or longer) - I thought it was something I had done

An update on email notifications.
I have reset the email settings for Libera Dreams. You should now receive notifications.
