Libera on new Aled Jones CD 'Blessings'

Aled Jones will release a new CD on November 6th, named 'Blessings'.

Libera participates on track #8 'Vespera'.


It is not said if the recording is recent or not.

In the past, Aled Jones already performed 'Vespera' with Libera.

I was thinking it would be very surprising and a tad unusual to include such an old recording of 'Vespera' on a new cd and this appears to indicate it will be a new update;

The evening blessing – Vespera – takes an uplifting pop beat, as Aled enlists the boy choristers Libera.

“This is such as a wonderful piece of music; I’ve known Robert Prizeman who leads them for years, but this has had a wonderful update which really feels life affirming. I love these boys so much I had them sing at my wedding!

Needless to say it will be an instant download for me when it becomes available. ...and could it possibly appear at a future concert?

Among the various pages visible on the moving video, at position 43'' there is an interesting information about the track #8 'Vespera'.

Apparently the song is not just Aled Jones on the lead with libera in background.
There is also a solo part from a libera boy, see the name in the image below.
Let's hope his solo will be significantly long

Actually they have re-recorded or re-arranged many of their songs from that era throughout their Libera albums.
