Thanks for posting! :D I love Isaac's solo at the beginning, and also the high harmony part. According to the video description, the full song will be released later in January, so I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open.

Thank you, Paul and Tom, for the video and blog link! Looking forward to seeing more.

The head of the US affiliate has posted a new blog post titled "Libera’s Wonderful World" that I assume was meant to coincide with the release of the preview for the song and video.

Thanks for that, I'm looking forward to the completed product. Is this going to be for an episode of Songs of Praise or for something else?

From the way the video was announced by Libera I think this has been put together by themselves rather than as a SoP item.

Bit like the Lullabye DVD from a while ago but the blog shows that it was also an educational opportunity for the lads. I thought the comment in the blog that life for kids wasn't like we see in Oliver! to be an indication of how much impact the filming made.

So you think they're going to show the completed video only on their website / blog?

Yes, but they do that with SoP videos anyway so I don't think it makes much difference other than Libera will have had to organise (and pay for I assume) the filming themselves. I could be wrong but it was just the way I interpreted the Twitter post and the piece on the official website - I'm only guessing.

#Edit# I re-read the website and it is a promo for new album so perhaps Warner paid for it but not definitely not SoP.

Just managed to catch it before work - very nice. Currently unlisted so showing 'consideration' as the caption says, but not too difficult to find.

I looked at the full music video now.
This 'Wonderful World-Project' seems strange to me..I always knew the song as a really hopefully and cheerful one, but the Libera music video of it is only sad. For a topic like child labour I definitely would have chosen another song, definitely.
For me it's not 'coherent in itself'...

But I want to say Isaac London is one of their best soloists at the moment, he becomes 12 years this month by the way :D

It's beautiful and poignant. The phrase "They'll know so much more than we'll ever know" was especially touching. Beautifully sang, and with some great shots. I didn't fancy the book so much, because I don't think they would have been allowed to read, but other than that I really liked it.

Here is the video
[BBvideo 425,350][/BBvideo]

To buy the single choose one of the options below to support Libera.

Click here for Google Play purchase
Click here for the Amazon purchase
Clock here for the Itunes purchase

Also in the caption for that video Libera tells us about the upcoming concerts. What I found interesting was this

"Libera is on tour in the USA in April 2015 visiting Washington, Boston, San Antonio, Chicago & Atlanta and again in the US later in 2015"

Again in 2015? Wow!

I never noticed the "again in the US later in 2015" part. I wonder if it's a typo? I absolutely LOVED the "What a Wonderful World" video though, and am super excited to see them in concert this April!

It doesn't look like a typo as they put it on its own separate line of text.

It's a very nice video and a worthy cause for sure. They did a great job. What I wonder about is how much it cost the Libera organization to make that video with hiring camera people, costumes, and all that and how that cost will be recouped. Usually their videos are done through SoP or something similar, but this was likely completely self-funded. They will probably not recoup the full cost from a bunch of $1.29 downloads because they may only get a few pennies from every transaction.

Since they have made the video available for free, I hope that fans support them by buying the single (I did! :D).

I hope that lots will buy the single after hearing the song and show their support for projects like this one going forward. It was certainly a lot of fun reading all of the action on social media with Libera tweeting out pictures of the boys and Moose  in period costume:

Good point. I thought maybe they meant 16 instead of 15 though? It does seem odd that they'd word it "again later in 2015" unless they meant again in 2015 (as opposed to later in 2016). I'm probably overthinking, just like I usually do. :)

I didn't see the picture of Moose until you posted it, very cute! I agree with you about how they probably won't make a lot of money on the singles, especially if people just rip them from YouTube after they've so nicely put it out there. I wasn't going to buy the single, but now that you've made me think about it that way I think I will. Every little bit helps, right?
