Styles for the new forum!

Here they are showcasing many available style for the new forum.

Well, I just looked through all of them and made a list of the ones I liked the best, which I will narrow down and put on here a little later. My initial favorite though, is 'we_clearblue', as it is easy to look at, the setup is nice, and it is not too different from the current style!

Whoa- I expected some 3 to 5, but there are a looooong list
I'll choose a few:
Criteria for choosing:
- Colors shouldn't be too bright or toxic for the eyes
- Forum needs a structure that is easy to understand
- No need to choose irrelevant message (I have nothing against SuperMario, Warcraft, Ferrari or Matrix styles/themes, but they have nothing to do with music)
Prosilver is ok, but I also like:
- Absolution
- Afterburner (like the structure, options like "Active topics" are easy to find)
- Frozen Phoenix
- twilightBB
- DarkFantasy (despite the strange name it offers a view that is easy to read)
Edit. 'we_clearblue' is also pretty nice
Edit 2: just noticed DarkFantasy bears its name on the very top.
If this can't be removed then it's not a good option ...

fisubice2 seems easy to negotiate - again light blue and easy on the eye.
Rock'n Roll is the only one with a musical theme I can find. When you change the banner/logo to something Libera related, the Rock'n Roll is gone.
GlossyBlack would take getting used to, and the less said about
slagg the better.

Keep up the good work.
As soon as I have a full list, I will install the styles and setup a poll so we can vote on one to use, then we can move forward and design some graphics for the top

My reasons:
- Good and clear layout of the structure.
- Good contrast even if you minimize the browser-window.
- Hoover effect with the complementary color when you go over the topics.

I have installed the suggested styles and they can be viewed on the test forum.
Click the style name for a preview.
I will wait a few more days to see if there are anymore suggestions, after which I will start a poll to vote on a style to use for our forum.

I think each one could have its one choice of the board style.
You can change them in the user control panel, using the register 'Board preferences' and then the 'My board style'.
There you can find all the installed styles.

Yes your right, but if we do that, we would need to design top graphics to go with each style. Some would look a little odd.
I think just for now! we can keep it simple, but we can always add other styles at a later date

Yep your right, it would appear you need to be logged in for the style to show
Ill have to see if I can change that

First, thank you to Paul for fixing my login/password and giving me my name back! May take a while to remember I don't have to sign my name anymore.

4. RocknRoll - kinda like the musical notes also

But am pretty easy going and will like whatever the group chooses.

I really like the Rock 'n Rolls... The music notes are very fitting!
