Thanks to a bit of sleuthing by our French super fan, Fan_de_LoK, and a hefty layout on my part from a dodgy Ebay vendor, we think we may have found an old TV appearance of the St Philip's Boys Choir.

This will be a complete guess but based on the mood of the lighting, plus a song that we could recognize from their current stage movement, my guess is "Morning has broken".

I like your thinking. That video has been around for ages and whilst it is also from a UK TV appearance it is later than the performance we have uncovered (although it is the same song featuring the same two lead singers)

1987 is the year I’m going with but it could be 1988. I just did a YouTube search for the chat show and 1987 the background matches with the stage setting as I just watched a Bee Gees performance.
