Spammers.

Hi all moderators.

I noticed a couple of spammers have passed my watchful eye.
I have for quite some time, been activating new registrations and deleting spam registrations. They are quite easy to spot. I have to be a little careful, as I don't want to delete legitimate signups. This is getting quite tiresome, as I have to vet the accounts on an individual basis. Sometimes, I may get 100 spam signups in a week. I going to explore other anti spam options, like an external spam prevention service that hold a large database of email and IP addresses. This may be less effective than human intervention, leaving only a handful of posts to deal with weekly, but it will give me more time to work on more important aspects of Libera Dream.

I will keep you posted on any spam counter measures that I may try.

Thanks Paul. You must be doing a good job because I haven't seen much recently although I'm not as active as I once was.
