Do you mean Merlin's greetings are in Dutch ?

I was not able to recognize the languages of:
- Ethan and Leo
- Merlin
- Calam
- Camden

Any idea ?

Someone on Youtube commented that Calam was speaking Punjabi, which is one of the languages of India. Ethan and Leo are part Greek I believe, so I assume they were speaking Greek. I don't know what Camden was speaking.

Thanks.

Greek is confirmed for Ethan and Leo.

I am amazed how efficiently the Google translator app recognize most of these languages.

Ethan and Leo say "Καλά Χριστούγεννα και ευτυχισμένο το νέο έτος".

Jack says "С Рождеством и наступающим Новым годом" (Russian)

Oliver M, Alex G and Dominik say "Wesołych Świąt i szczęśliwego Nowego Roku" (Polish)

Koji and Taichi say "メリークリスマスと良いお年を" (Japanese)

Yes. His pronounciation is not perfect, but he says "Vrolijke Kerst en gelukkig Nieuwjaar". It's really sweet how he speaks Dutch and I really applaud his effort :) Also, it's so cool to hear Dutch in a Libera video :)

  3. Koji - Japanese (0:07).
  4. Alexandre - French (0:09).
  5. Victor - French (0:11).
  6. Matthias - Italian (0:12).
  7. Alex M - Italian (0:15).
  8. Ethan - Greek (0:18).
  9. Leo - Greek (0:21).
  10. Merlin - Dutch (0:25).
  11. Oliver M - Polish (0:28).
  12. Tadhg - Gaelic (0:31).
  13. Dominik - Polish (0:32).
  14. Johnny - English (0:35).
  15. Sam - Combination of Italian and Spanish (0:37).
  16. Joe - English (0:39).
  17. Alex G - Polish (0:41).
  18. Jack - Russian (0:44).
  19. Calam - guess only: Punjabi (0:47).
  20. Camden - Akan (0:51).
  21. Taichi - Japanese (0:55).

I am still unsure about Calam. Google translation (and transliteration) helps but is not always available for all languages, this is how I assume Calam's is either Punjabi or maybe Urdu?

I believe Camden's family are originally from Ghana so I presume he was speaking in one of the 80 or so languages used in that country.

Thank you! This gave me the needed information to deduce that the language is in fact Akan.

What a great idea for Christmas wishes!!! :D :D :D There were 29 boys saying the wishes - so many of them. Great. The video made my day. :D :D :D

I was so surprised and happy at the same time when I heard Dominik speak Polish. I wouldn't expect anyone with the surname "Clarke" to be Polish, but I guess his mum comes from Poland. :D :D :D

Thank you Surpinto for listing and linking all of these. I like the fact that some of the most recent newbies were included in the video :)

Speaking of newbies, this is not Luca - my bet is rather on Felipe Jackson, considering his spanish first name) :?:

Yes, I noticed that but he looked similar to the photo of Luca on the members page at Libera Passion  I'll fix it.
