A short clip of Libera in their more traditional format when they took part in service of worship at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower taken by Tony Valek on Facebook

Here is where they were singing. The entrance to the junior school opposite bore the notice "No guns allowed on these premises". Well, I guess that's Texas.

Nice church even though if it does have quite a long name.

Does anybody know the name of the hymn they sung?

Sorry, I'm a long way from the pearly gates of heaven, if my devotion to the religious sector is anything to go by, but I do appreciate the joy to be found in the music.

Thank you Jimmy, nice find :)

The same guy also posted a photo from the long photo group they did after the end of the service:

A bunch of pictures and a video of the photo-shoot were posted somewhere. I thought I had downloaded them but am not able to find them now. Anyone have them/know where to find them? Was it biker Tomm?

Jimmy, they are singing the "Kyrie" or "Kyrie Eleison" (Lord have Mercy) which is a standard spoken or sung part of the Latin Mass. Sorry I cannot tell you who wrote the music for this version.

Thanks John, the blending of voices were very nice.

Not sure about the photo-shoot for this particular engagement, I only know of the videos taken and shared by Enjay Sea.

A lovely Kyrie - I get the impression it was a rehearsal. Not too sure if the boys/RP are happy with this recording being made public though.

"The Little Flower" is a nickname for St. Therese of Lisieux. In the Gallery of the USA Spring 2015 tour on Libera's website you see two pictures of the boys in front of a church with a statue of this famous French saint. I always thought it was so cool that there were pictures of Libera with one of my favourite saints and now I get the connnection :)

I am interested in who wrote the music of this "Kyrie", too, and, more than that, the sheet music. So if anyone can help, it would be very welcome to me.

One thing that is immediately different, of course, is seeing them staring down at sheet music. It just once again underscores how they go the extra mile to memorize at least 20 songs for a concert or tour (sometimes in a different language).
