Favicon issue since months

Post by fan_de_LoK »

Hi,

Since the site was renewed months ago the favicon of the site is no more usable.

The consequence is very light : it's just that there's no icon for the LD site into the icons bar.
Apparently no one cares as the problem is present from so long that I can't remember when it started  , but if someone can corrected it would be nice

To make me more clear, here an image below taken on my firefox :

The issue is easy to be confirmed : if I explicitly call the url http://libera-dreams.com/favicon.ico , firefox find the file (no 404 error) but it displays an message saying the image cannot be shown because the file is corrupted. With I.E., the same URL displays the classic little "red x icon" for images having problem.

thank you for your attention ;)

Could there be a favicon for IE 9 too?

There is only one Favicon and this should be found and supported from each browser.

On my IE 9 this is working so it has maybe to do with the setup of your machine :?
