It's January 2nd in Taiwan. Has anyone managed to purchase tickets yet?
The sponsor's website is even more frustrating than Yorkie's competition.

LOL - not heard anything (and I've just offloaded the blame for the competition on to you).

I know what you mean about the website although I do like the google translation - 'pure beauty of sound - the British angel wings choir'.

Ahhh, have just spotted some text that says (for the 2nd of April date) 'fares have been sold out'. Might explain why nothing is coming up for sale!

Can only find the 2nd April concert though, none of the others show up.
If I’ve got owt to say I says it, and if I’ve got owt to ask I asks it.

I suspect that only tickets for the concert on the 2nd have gone on sale today (and sold out).

I searched for 純淨美聲-英國天使之翼合唱團 on the website and the only date it brought up was for the 2nd - does it seem likely that they would stagger the ticket sales for each concert or am I missing something? Any Chinese speakers able to help?

#edit# Lauren via Twitter thinks that ticket sales don't start until midday on the 2nd and it is currently 2am

It is my understanding that Lauren is always right, which means that this old geezer will have to stay up until after midnight (Atlantic Time) for the second night in a row!

Well if you're staying up anyway you might as well enter the competition and use the time to identify the clips.

I got #12 easily.
Listened to all the CDs from 1999 onwards today.
Still not much wiser, but what a great way to enjoy the day.
Happy New Year!

Your hope will be probably verified ;)

The first 2012 concert in Singapore was full of great surprises and novelty, new songs, new soloists, with only the youngest on stage.
We may imagine it will be more or less the same in 2013, I'm really looking forward for the 2nd of April to discover what Robert will have imagined and created for us :D

For those still tempted to come, there is still plenty of very good seats at each of the concerts.
If it can help, I posted on the french forum a little guide to help to use the booking Taiwanese site :
http://libera-passion.exprimetoi.net/t9 ... -in-taiwan

For the flights I saw the cheapest to be around £600 from London, by China Eastern, with connections.
We are lucky in France, there is direct flights return from Paris to Taipei with Eva Air, at £660 :)

Libera in Taiwan's newspaper.
Source : Twitter, from a fan who lives in Taipei (Jean @j5428000). I asked her if it's ok for me to share the pictures on this forum and she said yes, such a nice fan she is.

Jimmy Riddle Tweeted this yesterday. I don't envy them with having to pronounce Chinese (Mandarin?) - looks like they were reading it from something in front of them (presumably some sort of phonetic spelling of what they had to say). Much better than I could do!
