Edward Burrows.

Had a couple of brothers who were also in St Paul's choir (and later formed Boys Air Choir which sang the very first clip I posted). Ed was in St Paul's choir at the same time as another famous Treble - Anthony Way.

And yep, it is fantastic - possibly one of the best ever performance I've heard.

A very talented family if the other two could sing like him.

Off the top of my head no (at least I don't think I own it). The post above it (by the Westminster Cathedral Choir) has the same song near the end of the clip and that is on CD.

I guess you could rip it from YouTube..........

The 'live' radio broadcast from King's on Christmas Eve is available for the next few days - it is different to the one shown on TV, which is pre-recorded earlier in December. Well worth a listen:

I guess I heard the live version then. They play it every Christmas Eve on National Public Radio here in the States :)

I have no idea how I haven't come across this piece before. This is just pure genius, and I've been hitting the replay button probably for the past hour or so.

Listening to the recording of Christmas Eve broadcast on BBC4 now (it's up for a week only, 1 day left). Actually I completely missed that it's a different one

It was also captivating to see the videos on YT. Watched them all. My favourites are Coventry carol, The First Nowell and O Holy Night. Too bad King's were not singing Still, still, still ... This song really got me, especially that night when it was sung at St.Philips as a part of Carols service 8)
