I think it stays in your outbox until the person you sent it too logs back into the forum.

The PMs are not handled like 'regular' E-Mails. They are stored in the Database of Libera-Dreams and as long the receiver does not open it, they stays in the 'Outbox'. After opening it, it will apear in the 'Sentbox'.
