I wonder if he's taking lessons from the lady (Jo Bryant) or singing in the Reigate and Redhill Youth Choir? Where is Redhill?

Redhill is in Surrey.

Not to far from Norbury

Indeed it is but not so lovely when I've missed my day off doing the 500 mile round trip from home-sister's-home to drop my mum off. I could have done without it to be honest.

wonder if there is any YouTube clips of this competition that he won?

Good for Flynn. So that puts him 1hr away from St Philips. I know some boys do come from Surrey, but it won't be possible for every boy to make that hour journey the 3 to 4 times a week they have to commit too. So in many ways I guess it was bittersweet that Flynn had to leave Libera. Nice for the prestigious school he got entry too, but not so good he had to relinquish his role in Libera. Still it's nice to know that he's still singing, and obviously to a high winning standard!

There seem to be so many short careers in Libera these days: Flynn, Alfie, mini-James, Freddie, James T.

I agree my friend. It is a bitter sweet symphony...it is but a whisper of a note.....the most profound of sounds the composer had created.....yet he did not realize this for it was in the subconscious...and when he had awaken from his dream.....the masterpiece in which he had written was forgotten.

Such is Libera :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

But..........

We have AWESOME NEW LIBERAS!!!!

An exciting time to see the transition taking place.....the new boys taking over the tradition

An exhilarating time to hear the cadence inevitably taking us by storm.....a new album with new soloists ... :D

Although this isn't new news, I haven't seen it reported anywhere else yet.

Flynn took part in a charity event in December to benefit a children's hospice.

Here's a picture of him performing and a group shot with some of the others involved in the event.
