I wanted to start a new thread on on the new CD as we now have more information about this upcoming release (February 17) and it may be more appropriate and convenient to have a separate thread rather than have the discussion tucked away under a thread about their concert; though the two are intertwined. For reference, FDL started the discussion here.

The tracks are as follows:
01. light - to Jupiter - the future (Mao Asada Produce)
02. Oath-Jupiter 2016
03. Home

The CD is available for sale at these websites (also courtesy of FDL):
HMV JP: http://www.hmv.co.jp/en/artist_Libera_0 ... er_6850440
Amazon JP :
Tower Records JP : http://tower.jp/item/4184445
Rakuten : http://books.rakuten.co.jp/rb/13596514

Anyway, there is now a preview of the new song "Home" from a recent Japanese television broadcast. Notes of "Angel" and "Song of Life" can be heard. Credit for the capture of this video and audio go to Airi on twitter.

Good find, Liberanna! I do find Muramatsu's repetition tiresome. It's like he wrote Song of Life, Angel, and Home in the same evening. They're just so similar. That being said, they are beautiful songs, and if I heard each separately without knowing any of the others, I would enjoy them very much.

I love Far Away and Song of Life so I am glad he has written some songs for the group , hopefully Home will be another classic Libera song.

I just miss Robert writing for the group and hope we get a new song off him at some point :)

You're right. Indeed, uplifting melodies, I really like them! But still ... They are like twins. A composer can not allow this to himself.

I had forgotten he had written Far Away. That song is very different from the other... three?... that he has written for Libera recently.
I too miss RP's compositions. Ben C. did a good job as well, and it would be nice to hear something from that quarter.

Well ... I finished it.
I wrote these songs for you. (Far Away, You Were There, Song of Life, Angel) I hope you like it!

http://www.liberaboyschoir.blogspot.hu/

The structure of the songs look like this:
1. Introduction (mostly piano)
2. soloist introduces the melody 3. Almost the same melody, the other voices join the escort
(Sometimes: Pre-chorus melody)
4. Refrain, most of the time sequence repeats
5. fade away ....
6. The soloist will close the verse
7. High Aaaaaaaas
Hear & see the score.... so they are pretty similar :)
We are looking forward to the new song.

That's amazing, Liberanna! I really like the backgrounds you have for the music.
