Today at Morrisons: Angels At Christmas

59 songs spread over 3 cd's

Issued by Demon Music a BBC Worldwide Company

The First CD is Christmas Songs.

I think this and the other two are from the BBC archive (possibly Thora on The Straight and Narrow)

The boys are credited as The Saint Phillips Boys Choir.

Cost £5

Are all of the tracks by Libera/St Phillips Boys Choir?

That looks like the three Angel Voices albums all in one package - good value.

Yep that's it. Not sure about three albums, I still think some are from BBC, could be wrong of course. Disc two on now. It doesn't mention Libera anywhere just St Phillips Boys Choir. No liner notes at all nor indications of who is soloing. But I guiess most of us will know that last.

If it is the three albums I am thinking of, they where made before the name Libera even existed, so they would of been released as, "St Philip's Choir"

The new Angel Voices at Christmas CD is a compilation of three older St' Philip's Choir CDs - Angel Voices, Angel Voices 2 and Angel Voices 3.

Cd1 is the Angel Voices 3 CD;
CD2 is the Angel Voices 1 CD (Silent Night has been omitted to avoid duplication)
CD3 is Angel Voices 2 (Pie Jesu and Gaudete have been omitted to avoid duplication)

That certainly would make it convenient when in the car--no need to fumble to switch cds.

The album is available on U.S. Amazon as well. For about $8, this makes collecting early Libera music affordable. No need to look for those rare used copies of Angel Voices 1/2/3 CDs!

The MP3 album of Angel Voices 3 is also reduced to $2. Interesting how every song is labeled "clean," except "Once in royal David's city."

Here is a promo compilation from Japan, new in my libera collection, issued by EMI for Japan only, not for sale. Track 17 "You were there!" with Tom! Inside the booklet there is a promo summary about libera in japanese.

Hi Ludwig1874, thank you for reporting this compilation :)
So you extend your collection to every compilation CD that includes a libera track ?
Wow!
In that case then your wallet is going to suffer!
So far, not less than 218 compilations have been identified :)

You can see the list on the French fans forum :
http://libera-passion.exprimetoi.net/t1 ... -de-libera

The compilations are sorted by release date.
You will find yours in Nov-Dec 2008.

For each CD I try to find the more possible information, photos and the tracks list.

I still have as project to build the BBcode that fits the libera Dreams forum, and to post the same list here on LD in addition to the French Forum, but I always postpone that task...
