TullyBascombe wrote:"Santa will find you" is probably an excellent choice for the Japanese market, where Christmas is very popular, but definitely not from the religious aspect.

When I look at Oliver's pose for the cover of the album it reminds me of videos of Michael Horncastle singing "Far Away". The semblance might have been a major factor for choosing that boy and that pose.
Excellent observations. The Japanese market mAkes more sense for a secular Christmas song.

Very. I mean it's pretty, but the two are so similar my head keeps telling me it's Song of Life, and then when it isn't I feel like I've heard a wrong note.

That was my first impression as well. Sounds nice though. :D

It's a very short clip so it's hard to tell even though there are some similarities.

This song, just like Mr. Muramatsu's Far Away and Song of Life, seems to have a very demanding range. It also has that kind of warm, touching tone. It's not surprising then that the burden is again on Isaac.

I can't wait for the whole song to come out! :)

That's true, but people who heard the whole song had the same thoughts at the time . However. I agree lets wait for the whole thing (and the other new song) before writing it off.

Libera's new mini-album as been released on Itunes... (lauren and yuki first notified via twitter)...

I know it's showing on US, UK & Japan Itunes but you may need to check your relative territories to see if it's been released were you live.

It's quite surprising how High Isaac's voice is on the chorus but he works his magic throughout the solo and that irish melodic lilt in his voice comes through to good effect. I expect it will sound better in a months time, still a bit too early for me to get in the Christmas zone yet.

The other songs are new versions, but I will probably stick with the Ireland CD for Wexford Carol as it's missing Isaac's gaelic intro this time. The other new song 'Angel' for USJ is still to be revealed.

Not a fan of Santa will Find me but Wexford is a nice rendition :)

Also Carol of the bells is always great to hear as they have nailed it .

It's not so Song-of-Life-ish in this clip. I really like how smiley Mark UR is. Am I the only one who thinks the current batch of boys is in general a bit (or a lot) more poker faced than the 2008-2010 batch?

Really ?

I think it's totally Song of Life and my problem is I love Song of Life so much that this pales in compassion .

Was that Mark as I thought it was Alex ? :)

Yeah, I think you meant Alex G.

They appear more lively in this video than in the Washington DVD, but I agree with your observation. In general they do seem to have become more disciplined and professional, rather than smiley and happy, on stage. But I'm a rather recent fan, so I'd like to see what everybody else says about this.
