Hummm... bigger than an usual flyer then.... interesting ☺

If you have enough free time for it, I suggest you to pay a visit at the Bunkamura, in Shibuya, and post us some photos of the lobby, if you see any libera materials there ☺

All who are going to Japan: :)
Have a good trip, have some wonderful concerts there, keep us in the loop (I know you will, as always) and please, return home safe afterwards!

Wow! :D

It never ceases to amaze me that their popularity in Japan and other East Asian countries allows such extravagant publicity events. I am very happy for all who were able to welcome Libera to Japan in this very unique way. I am sure the choristers appreciated it.

Thank you, Patrick, for reporting what's going on! Very amusing to read.

Right now, you are probably having breakfast on an important day ... first concert day! :D

FDL has posted the set list on Twitter and it is the same as Ely (at least the programme listing is the same. Fingers crossed that they have a surprise or two):

San Damiano
Sanctus
I'm Dreaming Of Home
From A Distance
Angele Dei
Far Away
Sacris Solemnis
Wonderful World
Libera

Dies Irae
Joyful Joyful
Angel
Salve Me
Amazing Grace
Sempiterna
Wayfaring Stranger
Smile
Exultate

Encore: Orinoco Flow, Libera
If I’ve got owt to say I says it, and if I’ve got owt to ask I asks it.

No need for a comprehensive review as the program was exactly the same as the Ely concert which has been extensively covered. As far as I can remember, the soloists too were unchanged although Gregor did need a little help with "Wonderful World" - whether because of a cold or the beginning of voice change was difficult to tell. Only difference was "Orinoco Flow" and "Libera" for the encore.

Great attendance –as is always the case in Japan - and an appreciative audience which gave a prolonged standing ovation – which is not given lightly in Japan. Crazy signing session with boys divided into two groups and double queues stretching up three long flights of stairs and then some.

Personal favourite performances on the night were “From a Distance” - Merlin was superb; “Dreaming of Home” – which Camden really nailed this time; and, though I never expected to say this, “Smile”. The lower harmonies from Alessandro really add something special and Gabe is in top form - as was Rocco for “Amazing Grace”, not my favourite song but an amazing performance by Rocco.
Same again tomorrow.
