Thanks for the information, I should be able to make it there by 3:00 or 4:00 pm pretty easily.

Re: 2023 US Tour
Relative to the beginning of a concert, when do they usually start rehearsing? In 2014 when did concert goers start showing up? I'm just trying to figure out at what time I should set out from home in order to get a seat.

Re: 2023 US Tour
So the Washington concert will basically be first come, first seated? I wonder at about what time the line will start forming? I wasn't aware that the previous Washington concert had been free. Did anyone here go to the first Washington concert and perhaps remember about when the line started formin...

Re: 2023 US Tour
According to the Ticketsource website tickets for the New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles concerts will become available at 2 PM on May 5, May 6 and May 7 respectively. Oddly nothing about Washington, DC. I hope this doesn't mean that arrangements for that concert are on shaky grounds.

Re: 2023 US Tour
In the past I've stayed at a Pod Hotel in central Manhattan when visiting The City. The price even during the summer is around $100 / night. They're bare bones but clean. Parking is an extra $ 50 / night. If you go that route be certain to specify whether you want a private bathroom. This may be ve...

Re: 2023 US Tour
It's been decades since I did the NJ train to NYC then on to the subway. Actually I took the PATH train from the Newark Airport to the Port Authority after having driven up from Baltimore. My reasoning was that airports have copious parking. In the past I've stayed at a Pod Hotel in central Manhatta...

Re: 2023 US Tour
The Basilica in Washington and Riverside Church in New York are both conveniently close to subway stops. I'm considering driving up to Washington the day of the concert and getting a room outside the city in a motel near the Metro. It would be easy to take the subway to and from the concert, avoidin...

Re: 2023 US Tour
Remember they have to have $ 12 K up front for each concert.
Ticketsource seems to offer tickets for events in the UK. I goggled "ticketsource.us" but on the page I was directed to only UK events were featured.

Re: 2023 US Tour
Any idea when the tickets will go on sale?
I don't see any special events yet posted for July either at the Basilica in Washington or Riverside in N.Y.

Re: New College Choir
I remember wearing red robe when I was a crucifer, then an acolyte at a small Episcopal church. Red or scarlet robes are favored during advent. Often it boils down to what is available from church supply vendors, most of whom, have no idea what the regulations in the UK are. Also I think the Constit...

Re: Libera at Hibiya Music Festival, June 3-4
Perhaps they'll hit the USA on their way to or from Japan in June? Hi Tully Don't forget their tours have to fit in with UK school breaks so: Korea - 2 week Easter break Japan 1 - late May 1 week break USA - main 6 week summer vacation from late July/early August. Japan 2 - Late October 1 week brea...

AFAIK H5N1 either does not pass from person to person or at most rarely does. So far.
