Re: Concert Photo's from my archive
I have always appreciated the lighting, and especially in those two concerts. I was at the Washington DC concert, and was very impressed by the beams coming from behind, and the smoke to create extra dimension and texture. The different kinds of lighting and coloring really help provide variety and ...

Re: Far Away cover
Here's another cover of Far Away, by a young Spanish singer. It's always been a challenging song to sing well, because of its vocal range and large jumps in the melody; Michael Horncastle made it sound easy. I see they added a bit different ending, perhaps to keep it short for the TV show. [BBvideo=...

Video about Libera's emotional impact
Came across this today - a YouTube channel with videos about mental health. The moderator somehow recently became aware of Libera, and the video below is his live reaction to The Moon Represents My Heart. Maybe some of his followers will be new Libera fans. I posted about Libera's website, YouTube p...

Re: 2019 US Summer Tour
I see that Oklahoma City has Bricktown, an area downtown with lots of places to eat, shop, river taxi rides, putt-putt golf, laser tag, etc.
In fact, the boys might even end up going there at some point, unless they have other things planned.

Re: Far Away cover
I was looking at some of her other videos, and here's one for "Angel" also. So she must admire either Libera, or the Japanese composer of both Angel and Far Away (can't remember his name at this moment.) By the way, this instrument obviously involves certain prerecorded parts, but she is p...

Re: Far Away cover
Here's a gorgeous arrangement of Far Away, done on a Yamaha Electone organ. It's a wonderful instrument, when you know how to take advantage of what it can do. And the arrangement is quite well done, being sensitive to the song itself. Some of the inner voicings that have been added give it richness...

Re: Other Choirs, Singers, Musicians that you like
Good share. I listened to the first song so far, and tears. I'll share with a friend from college whose husband just went to be with the Lord a couple days ago. Cheers.

Hidden (?) talent
(Wasn't quite sure where to put this)
This just posted - 4 of the boys taking advantage of an available piano.
Looks like Dominik is off to a early start.

Re: Libera "The Friendship Tour" (Philippines 2019)
As Maartendas mentioned above, Daniel seems to be well-spoken and confident. Which made me think - perhaps we should start a thread (unless it's already been done) for who we think have been some of the better speakers over the years, in interviews and promotion videos, etc. I know that's not what L...

Re: 2019 US Summer Tour
Glad to hear it, and I always wish them the best when they come. Hopefully, as you pointed out, they can arrange a tour with minimal travel between concerts. It is quite different, especially in the Western US, to do one concert, then a day of travel to one more concert - as opposed to, for example,...

Re: Japan 'Beyond' Tour - October 2018
I was grateful for the opportunity to share with Alex G and Nathaniel on Sunday why the following concert on Monday would have a special significance for me (it was the anniversary of my mother's passing) and then on Monday itself I was offered - completely unexpectedly - very kind words by Daniel ...

Re: Hello from the Netherlands!
Welcome, In Paradisum! I see that you've known Libera for a couple years. In case you haven't seen it, the 2009 TV show is a good behind the scenes summary. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_pyvWZlzwk&t=2s And the Libera Timeline is like an exhaustive diary of their history. http://lib-er-ahistor...

Re: Subtitles/Translations for Libera Videos on YouTube
Yes, great idea. And we should probably encourage fans on this forum - Japanese, German, Spanish, etc. to consider doing the same.
