Re: St George's 2015
In the version of Wayfaring Stranger recorded for the Libera In America DVD, the line "I am going there to see my ...." ends differently in each of the three verses.
First verse .... father
Second verse .... mother
Third verse .... brother.
Did they do it differently at St. George's?

Re: St George's 2015
When we walked by the west side of the Cathedral last August there was scaffolding around the door area. Not sure what they were doing but does anyone know if it's gone yet?
Hope everyone who attends later this week has a great time. Wish I was there (sigh).

Re: New Compilation
The new Angel Voices at Christmas CD is a compilation of three older St' Philip's Choir CDs - Angel Voices, Angel Voices 2 and Angel Voices 3. Cd1 is the Angel Voices 3 CD; CD2 is the Angel Voices 1 CD (Silent Night has been omitted to avoid duplication) CD3 is Angel Voices 2 (Pie Jesu and Gaudete h...

Re: Santa will find you. Official video release.
I may be wrong but I think that this is the first Libera video made available on YouTube in 4K.
I actually thought the older boy in the opening scene was Ciaran. We in the north country call what he is wearing around his head later in the video an ear warmer headband.

Re: The Holiday EP (Santa Will Find You)
Libera - Tenshi No Kureta Kiseki (Japanese Title) is available on amazon.ca but it is shipped from Japan and is priced at $35 CAN. This is about the same price that I paid for the Libera In America Blu-ray so I think I'll pass on buying it for now. I cannot see it yet on the U.S. Amazon site.

Re: The Holiday EP (Santa Will Find You)
I usually prefer religious to secular Christmas music but I vaguely remember enjoying Mindy Smith singing "Santa Will Find You" several years ago. It's certainly not a well known song and I had completely forgotten it until I listened to a part of the Libera version this week. As far as I ...

Re: What would be your best concert set list ?
"Sailing" is another song they recorded previously in the pre-Libera era I'd like to hear them sing again. "San Damiano" is another. It's not so much that I like the "old songs" any more than recent works, but I wouldn't mind seeing some of these previously recorded so...

Re: What would be your best concert set list ?
Thanks for your support maartendas! I remember reading posts on this forum several years ago (It was February 2010, actually) when the mini Ben version of Exsultate was released. While several people really enjoyed it then, several others (including Yorkie) didn't much care for it. Oh well, hoe meer...

Oops. I let a "Christmas song" sneak onto my list! Just trying to see who was paying attention.

I had ordered the BluRay on March 13th on Amazon.ca and was advised that delivery would be sometime between March 31st and April 17th.

Unfortunately someone has uploaded the full concert DVD to YouTube today and a torrent file appears to be available now as well. I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Re: Washington Concert DVD
Has anyone tried to order the BluRay from Amazon.ca (Canadian web site)? It appears to finally be in stock as of today but the product description states that it "usually ships within 1 to 2 months" which seems quite ridiculous.

Re: If you can decide, who is your single, most favorite solo
It is very difficult to separate the singer(s) from the (song(s). Over the past ten years that I have listening to Libera I have had so many favourites that I refuse to pick just one. So, limiting my choices to ex-soloists only, I guess my top five (in no particular order) would be Michael Horncastl...
