Sancte is one of my favourites from the CD too. I also would love them to put it too a video. You could certainly tell a story with that epic song.

Libera are often referred to as being 'Classical Crossover' Some of the established classical relics turn their nose up at classical crossover, but I don't mind the tag. Classical crossover is becoming more and more popular, and I think it's more appealing and practical for today's non-stop 24/7 dri...

Yes I read that too. Although I think it will be sailing to close to the wind of privacy to mention the school. Still, I can easily see why such a talented boy like Tom sailed through the application and got a place there. His CV must look mighty impressive on paper ;)

Hi Kara

It was during a press conference they did in Japan to promote their song Far Away in 2005 I think. They had the actor from the japanese movie there sitting with them answering questions from the interviewer. It used to be hosted on the Japanese EMI website but they took it off.

By the way, Josh has been a member since he was a very little boy as well. He can be seen performing on the Gaudete video and he looks to be no older than 7 or maybe 8. I think the first video's of Josh were about 2005, so I don't think he joined Libera until he was about 10 or 11. He said in an in...

Yes, it scheduled to air at the end of January. It's a shame they didn't post a few pictures from their annual choir holiday, but maybe they are being stricter on the privacy factor. Making a clear distinction between what they do as St. Philips and what they do as Libera. I just like reading their ...

Fantatsic answer Jimmy :D Thanks Jude, you almost feel guilty to the other's on that list after making your choice, because they all amazing. Not too mention some current members, just starting out in their Libera career, some already established on the front line; Ed Day has been great with his so...

Ooooh what an unbelievable difficult poll. Doesn't get more difficult that this, but no sitting on the fence folks. You’re on the edge of a cliff, and you have to make a decision or you get pushed off. Okay, for me it's Tom Cully as well. He's been delighting us with his front line solos for more th...

The way Songs of Praise works, is they chat about something, and then go into a hymn/song. So I think throughout this special documentary there could be a few (hopefully) new songs that we haven't seen Libera sing before. You never know they may pick a few songs from one of their live concerts. I do...

It's a valid point though, not every boy will feel comfortable performing solo. You see boys like Tom, Josh, Mini-Ben and how natural they are on stage and in the spotlight, but it wouldn't be true for everyone. I felt a bit awkward as a teenager, it was until the last year or so at school, that I g...

Thanks for sharing your photo's John. I think we are still awaiting official confirmation on the names of the new youngsters but I'm sure they will eventually become recognised as they continue their progress within the Libera ranks. I think they are over 26 members on the Libera books now, obviousl...

I actually would have loved for Libera to feature in the handover ceremony to London 2012 during Beijings closing ceremony next weekend. Instead some urban street dance act is performing, along with Leona Lewis, David Beckham and a Routemaster bus. Okay I suppose, but would have loved for Libera to ...

Yes, it will be good to chart the progress of the new boys over the next few years, although it's a double edged sword in away, because you know it inevitably means that the current front line boys you have so much enjoyed over the years are now in their final phase of being with Libera. You just ne...

Yes, Tom Daley's great for his age, to be doing dives like that. I have to watch the super slow-motion to barely take note of any mistakes, they all look to be pretty perfect to me. How the judges score without replays is beyond me. I try to catch the 1hr highlights program on BBC1 at 7pm after I co...

Well thankfully it stayed that way, a rumour. I'm quite surprised it was even taken seriously. So many reasons were expressed at the time, why this wouldn't be a practical idea. Age, language barrier, and well... just the fact that Libera is the Manchester United of Boy Choirs. Why would you want to...
