Glad they're maintaining that tradition and corporate connection as this can only be good for their notoriety.

Glad for the update.

Re: Other Choirs, Singers, Musicians that you like

Why this is none other than Mozart's Spatzenmesse (Sparrow Mass), the Gloria portion to be exact :D . A popular piece, especially among choirs which feature treble voices; it's a personal favorite of mine.

I like this performance and the soloist also. Thank you for sharing it with us. :D

Re: Lighthouse music video nominated

In passing saw a reference to these awards on the libera facebook page, wondered what the results were so googled them. A double win for Luca and Libera in Best Male Artist and Best Video.... yet no mention anywhere on social media or on the Libera website. They really do need to work on raising th...

Re: Japan Tour (October 29 - November 1, 2024)

I was able to get tickets :D! It turns out there are several pre-sale rounds. This time I had researched the ticket process and I had a friend in Japan who helped with calling and paying. Now I’m looking forward even more to reading reviews about the UK concerts, because I think they might contain ...

Re: Luca Brugnoli

I like it! You can hear his voice beginning to subtly shift downwards, and this is particularly evident on the lower notes.

Thanks for keeping us updated :D

Slow going sales in Chester and Lincoln with plenty of quality seats left now nearly 8 hours after launch.

Re: Another fan from the Netherlands

Welcome! So exciting that you'll be visiting Japan and seeing them in concert. I assume that the Ely, Chester, and Lincoln concerts are in conflict with your schedule even though they are closer in proximity? Glad to have you with us, and hopefully you can give us your impressions of the concerts in...

Re: A newly uncovered not seen before (possibly) video

This will be a complete guess but based on the mood of the lighting, plus a song that we could recognize from their current stage movement, my guess is "Morning has broken".

Let me know how wrong that is as soon as possible!

Yeah, that looks totally unfamiliar to me. Looking forward to the full video. What a tease!

Re: Random tour photos

Might seem off-topic for me to say it, but looking at those photos I have a feeling that if they do return to the US in 2025 (or after) they'll likely be opting for the mid-west, San Francisco, and/or LA again. So maybe another cable car photo is in their future!

Re: UK Cathedral Concerts in 2024

Glad you're better. :) Thank you everyone for your quick responses and advice. That's an excellent point about not wanting to rush off at the end (and of course if the cathedral is full it might not be easy to leave quickly anyway). I'll factor that in to my plans if I manage to get a ticket. Smart...

Re: UK Cathedral Concerts in 2024

Hope you feel better soon. I'm glad this news has come at a good time to cheer you up. I'm hoping to be able to go to the Chester Cathedral concert and I was just wondering - concert veterans roughly how long do Libera concerts last, including the interval? Trying to work out if I'll need to stay o...

Big news which is obviously overshadowed by the UK concert thread, but I bet a few LDF members will be there.

Re: UK Cathedral Concerts in 2024

Hope you feel better very soon, Surpinto.🍀 I’m going to try and get tickets for at least one of the July concerts too. I guess this most likely means there’ll be no tour abroad in the summer, then. An still no word on a possible Philippines tour. But very happy that there’ll be more opportunities t...
